Johnny Shannon (29 July 1932 – 17 March 2017) was an English actor. He is best known for his role as the gangster Harry Flowers in the 1970 film *Performance*.

Shannon took up acting in his late thirties after working on market stalls and as a night driver, having previously been an amateur boxer. He assisted James Fox with preparation for *Performance* through sparring sessions and accent coaching, which led to his casting in the film.

Over a career spanning 1970 to 2005 he appeared in numerous films and television productions, often as policemen or villains. Other credits include Mr Firkin in *Fawlty Towers* (1975), a role in *The Professionals* (1977), Peter Rachman in *Scandal* (1989), Saltzman in *Absolute Beginners* (1986) and the landlord in *Stoned* (2005).
