## Biography

Jon Seda is an American actor. Born on 14 October 1970 in Manhattan, New York City, he was raised in Clifton, New Jersey, to parents of Puerto Rican descent. An amateur boxer with a 21–1 record, he auditioned for the 1992 film *Gladiator* and secured a role, which led him to pursue acting.

His early film credits include *Carlito's Way* (1993), *Twelve Monkeys* (1995) as Jose, *Primal Fear* (1996), and *Selena* (1997) as Chris Pérez. On television he played Detective Paul Falsone in *Homicide: Life on the Street* (1997–1999) and John Basilone in the miniseries *The Pacific* (2010). He is also known for recurring roles as Antonio Dawson in the *Chicago* franchise, including *Chicago P.D.* (2014–2019) and *Chicago Fire*.
