## Biography

Jonathan Djob Nkondo is a French director, animator and artist based in London. He studied animation at Gobelins in Paris and graduated in 2011.

He directed two episodes of the animated series *Scavengers Reign* (2023), on which he also worked as a character designer, animator and storyboard artist. His other directing credits include the short film *Little Taste of Joy* (2023), the music video *Gorillaz: The Mountain, the Moon Cave and the Sad God* (2026), and several earlier shorts such as *Solipsism* (2019) and *Dark Day* (2016). He has additionally contributed to projects including *Love, Death & Robots* and various music videos.

Nkondo has a background in self-published comics, with English editions of his graphic novels *Peaceful Remission* and *Wandering* released in 2026.
