## Biography

Jonathan Estrin is a television producer, writer and director. He contributed as writer, director and supervising producer to the CBS series *Cagney & Lacey* (1986–1988).

His other credits include writing and producing the television films *Between Friends* (1983), *Sisters* (1990) and *Jasper, Texas* (2003), and writing episodes of *Family Law* (2000) and *Port Charles* (2000). As an actor, he appeared in *The Day After* (1983) and episodes of *Knots Landing* (1979).

Estrin has theatre credits as an actor and director. In the mid-1970s he taught drama and film appreciation at the University of Puget Sound, and later served as dean of Drexel University's Media Arts & Design College in Philadelphia.
