Jonathan Forbes is an Irish actor born on 4 December 1976 in Dublin. He trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, graduating in 2001 as a BBC Carleton Hobbs Award winner.

Forbes played the lead in the 2001 film *Conspiracy of Silence*, for which he received an Irish Film and Television Award nomination for Best Newcomer. His television credits include *Hornblower: Loyalty* (2003) as Midshipman Charles Orrock, *Foyle's War* (2002) as Johann Schultz, *Black Mirror* (2011) as Browne, *Catastrophe* (2015–2019) as Fergal, and *Clique* (2017) as Jay Galatas.
