Jonathan Jackson is an American actor. Born on 11 May 1982 in Orlando, Florida, he began his career with commercials before being cast as Lucky Spencer on the soap opera *General Hospital* in 1993, a role he has played in multiple stints through 2025. He received several Daytime Emmy Awards for the performance.

Jackson has appeared in films including *The Deep End of the Ocean* (1999), *Tuck Everlasting* (2002) as Jesse Tuck, *Insomnia* (2002), *Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights* (2004) and *Riding the Bullet* (2004). He played Avery Barkley on the series *Nashville* from 2012 to 2018. He is also a musician with the band Enation.
