## Biography

Jonathan Jones is a British cinematographer and director specialising in natural history documentaries and factual television. He has worked as director of photography on series including *Planet Earth II* (2016), for which he filmed sequences in the grasslands episode, and *Tiny Creatures* (2020).

Jones founded the production company Ember Films. His credits also include *Prehistoric Planet* (2022), *The Hunt* (2015) and *Great Migrations* (2010). He has received multiple Emmy awards and other honours for his cinematography.
