## Biography

Jonathan Lisco is a television writer, producer and director. A former attorney in New York City, he began his television career as a staff writer on the ABC series *NYPD Blue*, contributing stories and teleplays in 2001.

He has served as showrunner on several series, including *Halt and Catch Fire* (2014–2015), for which he also wrote episodes, and *Animal Kingdom* (2016–2022), which he developed for television. Lisco is co-showrunner and executive producer on *Yellowjackets* (2021–), where he has also written and directed episodes. His other credits include creating *K-Ville* (2007–2008) and work on *Southland* and *The District*.

In 2025 he signed an overall deal with Warner Bros. Television and HBO Max. He received a Peabody Award for *Southland* and was named Showrunner of the Year at the 2022 Banff World Media Festival.
