## Biography

Jonathan Lucas is a film editor. He began his career as a production runner at Twickenham film studios in the United Kingdom before moving into editing roles.

A member of the Editors Guild since 1993, he worked as first assistant editor or associate editor on numerous features including *Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets* (2002), *The Fast and the Furious* (2001), *Troy* (2004), *Waterworld* (1995) and *Sommersby* (1993). His first credit as lead editor was on the stop-motion animated film *Corpse Bride* (2005), directed by Tim Burton and Mike Johnson, on which he worked with Final Cut Pro.

Subsequent editing credits include *Dirty Girl* (2010) and *Hide Away* (2011). He has also appeared as an actor in a small number of productions.
