## Biography

Jonathan Morris is a British film editor. Born on 6 March 1949 in Hendon, London, he began his career as a child actor before training as an assistant editor in the 1960s. He worked on television series including *The Saint* and *The Champions*, and later as a dubbing assistant at Tigon Films.

Morris has been the regular editor for director Ken Loach since the 1980s. Their collaborations include *Riff-Raff* (1991), *Land and Freedom* (1995), *My Name Is Joe* (1998), *Sweet Sixteen* (2002), *The Wind That Shakes the Barley* (2006), *Looking for Eric* (2009), *The Angels' Share* (2012), *I, Daniel Blake* (2016), *Sorry We Missed You* (2019) and *The Old Oak* (2023). He has also edited documentaries and other features.
