## Biography

Jonathan T. Taplin is an American film producer. He began his career in the music industry, working as a tour manager for Bob Dylan and The Band after graduating from Princeton University in 1969.

In 1973 he produced Martin Scorsese's *Mean Streets*. He went on to produce or executive produce films including *The Last Waltz* (1978), *Under Fire* (1983), *Until the End of the World* (1991) and *To Die For* (1995), as well as PBS documentary series such as *The Prize* and *Cadillac Desert*.

Taplin later founded the video-on-demand company Intertainer and served as Director Emeritus of the Annenberg Innovation Lab at the University of Southern California.
