Jonny Sun is a Canadian writer, author and illustrator. He wrote for the sixth and final season of the Netflix animated series *BoJack Horseman* (2020) and contributed to the limited series *Mrs. Davis* (2023).

Sun is the author of the illustrated novel *everyone's a aliebn when ur a aliebn too* (2017) and the essay collection *Goodbye, Again* (2021), both New York Times bestsellers. He illustrated *Gmorning, Gnight!* (2018) by Lin-Manuel Miranda. He studied engineering at the University of Toronto and architecture at Yale, and is a doctoral candidate at MIT.
