## Biography

Jono Oliver is a director and former assistant director working in film and television. He has directed episodes of series including *The Blacklist* (2013), *Law & Order: Special Victims Unit* (1999), *Chicago Fire* (2012), *Chicago Med* (2015), *For Life* (2020), *Bull* (2016) and *Power Book II: Ghost* (2020).

In 2013 he wrote and directed the feature film *Home*, which received a nomination for an NAACP Image Award for Directing. He previously worked for many years as a first or second assistant director on projects such as *Fences* (2016), *The Great Debaters* (2007), *Guess Who* (2005), *Snake Eyes* (1998) and *Virtuosity* (1995).

Oliver grew up in Brooklyn and holds a B.A. in Political Science from Stanford University. He also wrote and directed the short film *The Window* (2000).
