Jordan Charney is an American character actor. He was born on 1 April 1937 in Brooklyn, New York, and graduated from Brooklyn College in 1960.

Charney began his career in theatre and daytime television in the 1960s. He is known for film roles including Harry Hunter in *Network* (1976) and Dean Yeager in *Ghostbusters* (1984). His television credits include recurring appearances in *Hill Street Blues* (1981–1986), *Three's Company* (as Frank Angelino), and multiple *Law & Order* series.

He has also performed on Broadway and in other stage productions, and has been married to television director and producer Nancy Cooperstein since 1966.
