## Biography

Jordan Kerner is an American film producer. He began his career in television at the CBS affiliate KPIX in San Francisco in 1971, later working in business affairs and development roles at CBS, Universal/NBC and ABC before forming the Avnet/Kerner production company with Jon Avnet in 1986.

His credits include *Fried Green Tomatoes* (1991), *The Mighty Ducks* (1992) and its sequels, *George of the Jungle* (1997), *Inspector Gadget* (1999), *Charlotte's Web* (2006), *The Smurfs* (2011) and *Clifford the Big Red Dog* (2021). In 2007 he was appointed dean of the School of Filmmaking at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts.
