## Biography

Jorge Jimenez is a Mexican actor, writer and producer. He trained at the Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes in Mexico City and the Academia Artística Emilia Carranza, later receiving a scholarship to the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York and completing graduate studies in dramatic writing at NYU Tisch.

His film credits include Ernesto in *Hasta Morir* (1994), roles in *Blow* (2001), *And Starring Pancho Villa as Himself* (2003), *The Crow: Wicked Prayer* (2005), *Alita: Battle Angel* (2019), *Machete Kills* (2013) and *No Man's Land* (2021). He played Tío Chema in *Blue Beetle* (2023). On television he appeared in *CSI: Crime Scene Investigation* and co-wrote, produced and starred as Abel Solares in the series *José José: El Príncipe de la Canción* (2018).
