He is known for portraying Amado Carrillo Fuentes in the Netflix series *Narcos* (2017) and *Narcos: Mexico* (2018–2021). His film roles include Santiago in *Madame Web* (2024), Pritchenko in *Apocalypse Z: The Beginning of the End* (2024) and Vasquez in *Beverly Hills Chihuahua* (2008). He won an Ariel Award for Best Supporting Actor for *Las vueltas del citrillo* (2006).
