## Biography

Josefin Åsberg is a Swedish production designer and art director. She was born on 30 July 1974 in Älvsborg, Sweden.

She began working in film as an assistant art director on *Together* (2000) and took on production design duties for *Lilya 4-ever* (2002), both directed by Lukas Moodysson. She has collaborated repeatedly with Ruben Östlund on *Force Majeure* (2014), *The Square* (2017) and *Triangle of Sadness* (2022).

For *The Square*, Åsberg received the Vulcan Award at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival and the European Film Award for Best Production Designer. She has received several Guldbagge Award nominations for production design.
