## Biography

Joseph Chou is a producer of animated films and television series. Born in South Korea, he grew up in a family involved in entertainment and initially aspired to direct before moving into production.

He joined Warner Bros. Home Entertainment during the development of *The Animatrix* (2003) and later headed a division specialising in Japanese anime projects. After leaving Warner, he founded Sola Digital Arts and has produced numerous titles, often collaborating with directors such as Shinji Aramaki.

His credits include *Appleseed: Ex Machina* (2007), *Starship Troopers: Invasion* (2012), *The God of High School* (2020), *Tower of God* (2020), *Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045* (2020–2022), *Knights of the Zodiac* (2023) and *The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim* (2024).
