Joseph F. Kosala (1946–2015) was an American actor and retired Chicago police sergeant. He appeared in several films, frequently portraying law enforcement officers, and worked as a technical advisor on early projects directed by Andrew Davis.

Kosala is best known for playing Detective Rosetti in *The Fugitive* (1993). His other film credits include *Code of Silence* (1985), *Above the Law* (1988), *Under Siege* (1992), *Primal Fear* (1996) and *Chain Reaction* (1996). He also had small roles in television series such as *ER* (1999) and *Early Edition* (1999).

A Chicago native, Kosala served 34 years with the Chicago Police Department before retiring in 2006. He collaborated on multiple films with director Andrew Davis.
