Joseph Gunn, also credited as Joseph Polizzi, is a television writer and producer. He wrote three episodes of the series *Kojak* (1974–1977).

He created the series *Delvecchio* (1976–1977) and contributed episodes to *CHiPs* (1977), *Miami Vice* (1984), *Airwolf* (1984), *Street Hawk* (1985) and *T. J. Hooker* (1982). Later credits include the television films *Manhunt: Search for the Night Stalker* (1989) and *Shoot First: A Cop's Vengeance* (1991), and the feature *The Gardener* (1998).
