## Biography

Joseph Lee is an American director and animator based in Los Angeles. He began working on *Family Guy* (1999) in the art and animation departments, contributing as a storyboard artist, revisionist, assistant director and animation timer from 2005. He progressed to directing the series from 2010, credited on over 30 episodes.

Lee has also directed episodes of *King of the Hill* (1997) in layout and storyboard roles earlier in his career, and directed the 2016 music video *Katy Perry: Rise (Olympic Version)*. He received a Primetime Emmy nomination for his work.
