## Biography

Joseph Lidster is an English playwright and screenwriter. He began his career writing audio dramas for Big Finish Productions, starting with *The Rapture* in 2002, and contributed numerous further plays and short stories to their Doctor Who and related ranges.

In 2005 he began writing tie-in material for the BBC's Doctor Who website. His television writing debut came in 2008 with the Torchwood episode 'A Day in the Death'. He subsequently wrote three two-part stories for *The Sarah Jane Adventures* (2008–2010) and episodes for *Wizards vs Aliens* and other children's series including *Hetty Feather* and *The Dumping Ground*.
