## Biography

Josh Blacker is a South African actor, producer and writer. He made his feature film debut as Crowe in the 2013 science fiction film *Elysium*.

Blacker was born in Johannesburg. He obtained a law degree from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, and practised law for four years before turning to acting. His first television role was a guest appearance on *Killer Instinct* in 2006. He has appeared in series including *Supernatural* (2006) as Caleb, *Stargate Universe* (2009–2010) as Marine Sgt. Spencer, *Fringe*, *Arrow* and *Reacher* (2022–2024) as Hortense Fields.

Blacker co-wrote and produced the 2014 film *Focus*, in which he also acted.
