## Biography

Josh McKenzie is a New Zealand actor, writer and producer. He first gained recognition for his role as Marc Snell in the 2011 feature film *The Hopes & Dreams of Gazza Snell*, for which he received the Most Outstanding Debut Performance award at the Aotearoa Film & Television Awards.

McKenzie has appeared in international television series including *La Brea* (2021–2024) as Lucas Hayes, *The Hunting Party* (2025) as Shane Florence, and *The Twelve* (2024) as Joey Kovac. He is also credited as Podcaster in the 2026 film *Beast*. In addition to acting, he has worked behind the camera, co-writing, directing and producing the 2014 web series *The Transplants*.
