## Biography

Joyce Haber (28 December 1930 – 29 July 1993) was an American journalist and occasional actor. She succeeded Hedda Hopper as a gossip columnist for the Los Angeles Times in 1968 and held the post until 1976.

Her screen credits include the role of Zelda in *Conquest of the Planet of the Apes* (1972), a Hollywood party guest in *The Christian Licorice Store* (1971), and appearances as herself in episodes of *That Girl* (1970) and *Here's Lucy* (1970). She later wrote the novel *The Users* (1976), which was adapted as a television film in 1978.

Haber was married to television producer Douglas S. Cramer from 1966 to 1972; they had two children.
