## Biography

Judith O'Dea is an American actress. She played Barbra in the 1968 horror film *Night of the Living Dead*, directed by George A. Romero.

O'Dea began performing in the 1960s with stage and local television work in Pittsburgh before moving to Los Angeles. She later took a break from acting to raise her family and founded O'Dea Communications, which provides oral communications training. She returned to acting in the 2000s, appearing in several independent horror films including *Claustrophobia* (2003), *October Moon* (2005) and *Women's Studies* (2010). She reprised the role of Barbra in *Night of the Living Dead: Genesis* (2017) and appeared in *Vampire Zombies... from Space!* (2024).
