## Biography

Judith Ridley is an American actress. She was born on 15 September 1946 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Before acting she worked as a receptionist for Karl Hardman and Marilyn Eastman, and later for George A. Romero's company The Latent Image.

Ridley is best known for playing Judy in *Night of the Living Dead* (1968). She had no prior acting experience and auditioned for the lead role of Barbra before being cast as Judy. She appeared as Lynn Harris in *The Affair* (1971, credited as Judith Streiner). She later worked as a food dresser on commercials.
