Judy Gold is an American stand-up comedian, actor, television writer and producer. Born on 15 November 1962 in Newark, New Jersey, she graduated from Rutgers University in 1984 and began performing stand-up comedy while a student there.

Gold won two Daytime Emmy Awards for her work as a writer and producer on *The Rosie O'Donnell Show*. She has acted in numerous television series including *Roseanne*, *All-American Girl*, *30 Rock*, *Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt* and *Better Things*, where she also served as a writer and story editor on the final season.
