## Biography

Juel Taylor is an American screenwriter and film director. He was born on 1 May 1987 in Tuskegee, Alabama, and studied at the University of Florida before earning an MFA from the USC School of Cinematic Arts.

Taylor co-wrote the screenplay for *Creed II* (2018) with Sylvester Stallone. With writing partner Tony Rettenmaier he also co-wrote *Space Jam: A New Legacy* (2021) and the screenplay for *They Cloned Tyrone* (2023), which marked his feature directorial debut. He wrote the screenplay for *Shooting Stars* (2023).
