## Biography

Jules Brenner (1934–2021) was an American cinematographer. He served as director of photography on the horror-comedy *The Return of the Living Dead* (1985), the crime film *Dillinger* (1973), the anti-war drama *Johnny Got His Gun* (1971) and the comedy *Up in Smoke* (1978).

His other credits include the television miniseries *Salem's Lot* (1979) and *Helter Skelter* (1976), episodes of the series *MacGyver* (1985), and the films *Teen Wolf Too* (1987) and *1969* (1988). Brenner grew up in Brooklyn, New York, and attended Franklin Delano Roosevelt High School there.
