## Biography

Julia Ruchman is an American television writer and producer. She began her career writing episodes for series including *The Troop* (2009–2010) and *Covert Affairs* (2011–2013).

She wrote one episode of *American Odyssey* (2015) and five episodes of *The Son* (2017–2019). On *The Walking Dead* (2010), she contributed six episodes as writer between 2019 and 2022, and served as co-executive producer across 46 episodes in seasons 10 and 11.

In 2024, she was attached as writer and executive producer on a Universal Television adaptation of Jana Monroe’s memoir *Hearts of Darkness*, alongside Susanna Fogel.
