Julian Bond (1930–2012) was a British television and film writer. He contributed scripts to numerous series, including an episode of *Upstairs, Downstairs* (1971), several episodes of *The Saint* (from 1962), and dramatizations for *Tales of the Unexpected* (1980–1981).

His screenwriting credits include the films *The Shooting Party* (1985) and *The Whistle Blower* (1986). He also created the series *A Man of Our Times* (1967) and wrote for *The Far Pavilions* (1984) and *Strangers and Brothers* (1984). Bond received a BAFTA nomination for adapted screenplay.
