## Biography

Julie Herlocker is an American director, producer and writer. She began her career as a post-producer on episodic television, with credits that include *The West Wing*, *Steven Spielberg Presents Taken*, *Skin*, *Las Vegas*, *Grimm* and *Dietland*.

Herlocker directed the *Grimm* episode 'Breakfast in Bed' (2017), her first episodic directing credit after the short film *Peter's Ashes* (2014). She has since directed the shorts *7AM Wednesday* (2020) and *A Close Call* (2021), and made her feature debut with *The Sintern* (2024). She is a graduate of the DGA's DDI Mentorship Program, a participant in the Paramount Global Directing Initiative and was selected for the inaugural 2024 Alliance of Women Directors Rising Director Fellowship.
