Julien Josephson (24 October 1881 – 14 April 1959) was an American screenwriter. Born in Roseburg, Oregon, he began working in motion pictures in 1914 and remained active until the early 1940s.

He adapted several theatrical works for the screen during the silent era, including *Lady Windermere's Fan* (1925). Josephson received an Academy Award nomination for his screenplay for *Disraeli* (1929). He later contributed to films such as *Heidi* (1937), *Wee Willie Winkie* (1937), *Suez* (1938) and *Stanley and Livingstone* (1939), often in collaboration with other writers at studios including Warner Bros. and 20th Century-Fox.
