## Biography

June Foray was an American voice actress. Born June Lucille Forer on 18 September 1917 in Springfield, Massachusetts, she began working in radio as a child and later moved to Los Angeles.

She provided voices for numerous animated films and series, including the Mermaid and Squaw in *Peter Pan* (1953), Lucifer in *Cinderella* (1950), Granny in Warner Bros. cartoons, Rocky the Flying Squirrel in *The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show*, and Grandmother Fa in *Mulan* (1998). Her career spanned radio, theatrical shorts, feature films, television and video games.

Foray helped establish the Annie Awards and supported the creation of the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature. She received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and died on 26 July 2017 in Los Angeles.
