## Biography

Justin Rubenstein is an American composer and musician. He is a co-founder, with his half-brother J.R. Kaufman, of the band The Blasting Company, formerly known as the Petrojvic Blasting Company.

The band originated in 2008 in Tennessee as a street-performing group inspired by Balkan folk music and later expanded to include Brandon Armstrong. It is best known for composing and performing the music for the 2014 Cartoon Network miniseries *Over the Garden Wall*, on which Rubenstein is credited as a composer and multi-instrumentalist.
