## Biography

Kalani Queypo is an American actor, dancer and filmmaker. Born on 6 September 1986 in Hawaii, he trained in classical hula and moved to New York after high school to pursue acting.

He is known for roles including Kotori in *Slow West* (2015), Klah Jackson in *Fear the Walking Dead* (2015), Chacrow in *Jamestown* (2017–2019), Parahunt in *The New World* (2005) and Squanto in *Saints & Strangers* (2015). He received a nomination for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series at the 2021 Canadian Screen Awards for *Trickster*.

Queypo is a founding member of SAG-AFTRA's National Native American Committee. He also directed the short film *Ancestor Eyes* (2008).
