## Biography

Kane Mahon is a Canadian actor of Afghan origin. He is credited with voice roles including the Optician, Kiln Owner Talib and Crowd Voices in the 2017 animated film *The Breadwinner*, directed by Nora Twomey. He also appeared in the 2017 television series *Taken* as Mossad Tourist #1 and had a recurring role as Mikham Candahar in the Amazon series *Patriot* (2015–2017).

Born in Afghanistan, Mahon moved with his family to Tajikistan in 1993. He completed a master’s degree in international relations there before immigrating to Canada. He trained at the George Brown Theatre School in Toronto and has received a Canadian Screen Awards nomination for Best Performance by an Actor in a Program or Series Produced for Digital Media for his work in the web series *Petrol*. Other credits include the 2019 film *The Cuban* as Atesh. He is fluent in English, Russian and Dari.
