Kaori Makita is a Japanese animation director and episode director. She is credited on the television series *Attack on Titan* (2013) and has directed episodes of *Banana Fish* (2018) and *Yuri!!! on Ice* (2016). She has also worked as a storyboard artist and assistant director on several series.

Makita directed the 2020 film *Twittering Birds Never Fly: The Clouds Gather* and the web series *Kakegurui Twin* (2022). She served as series director on *Hell's Paradise* (2023) and as second unit director on *The Rose of Versailles* (2025). She is affiliated with the studio MAPPA and is from Shizuoka, Japan.
