## Biography

Karen Chee is an American writer and comedian. She has written for the Apple TV+ series *Pachinko* (2024) and the Netflix series *A Man on the Inside* (2024), on which she also served as executive story editor.

Chee studied at Harvard University, where she was president of an improvisational comedy troupe. She began her career contributing to publications including McSweeney's, Reductress and The New Yorker, and wrote for the Golden Globes in 2019 and 2021. She has been a staff writer on *Late Night with Seth Meyers* since 2019 and is a three-time Emmy nominee for her work on the programme.
