Karen Hydendahl is an American animation director and storyboard artist, often credited as Karen Hyden. She directed episodes of the animated series *Daria* (1997) and has directed multiple episodes of *The Great North* (2021).

Her other directing credits include supervising director on *Sabrina: The Animated Series* (1999), as well as work on *Horseland* (2006), *Trollz* (2005) and *Strawberry Shortcake* projects. She has also contributed as a storyboard artist on *Bob's Burgers*.
