## Biography

Karen Robson is an Australian entertainment lawyer, producer and former actress. She is best known for her role as Irma Leopold in Peter Weir's 1975 film *Picnic at Hanging Rock*.

Born in Malacca, Malaysia, Robson made her acting debut in that film. Her only other screen credit was as a receptionist in the 2003 film *Paris*, which she also helped produce. She later qualified as a lawyer at the University of Sydney and became a partner at the Los Angeles firm Pryor Cashman, where she specialises in film finance. She has worked as a producer on films including *Affliction* and *Cliffhanger*.
