Kat Coiro is an American film and television director. She directed an episode of the series *Shameless* (2011) in 2018, as well as episodes of *It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia* (2005), *Brooklyn Nine-Nine* (2013), *Modern Family* (2009), *Dead to Me* (2019) and *The Mick* (2017). Her feature film credits include *Marry Me* (2022).

Coiro was born on 17 September 1979 in New York City. She trained in theatre at Carnegie Mellon University and the Moscow Art Theatre, and was a fellow in the directing programme at the American Film Institute. She is married to actor Rhys Coiro.
