## Biography

Kate Fodor is an American playwright and television writer. She began her career in theatre, with her debut play *Hannah and Martin* opening Off-Broadway in 2004. Her other plays include *RX*, *100 Saints You Should Know* and *Fifty Ways*.

Fodor received a 2013 Guggenheim Fellowship in playwriting, the Roger L. Stevens Award from the Kennedy Center and a Joseph Jefferson Citation for New Work. She has also taught playwriting at the University of Pennsylvania.

In television, she has worked as a writer and producer on *The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel* (2017–2022), serving as story editor, executive story editor and producer, and writing episodes. She has also written for *Julia* (2022) and *Stick* (2025).
