## Biography

Kate Phillips is a British actress. She trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and made her screen debut as Jane Seymour in the BBC miniseries *Wolf Hall* (2015). She later reprised the role in the sequel series *Wolf Hall: The Mirror and the Light*.

Phillips has appeared in the miniseries *War & Peace* (2016) as Lise Bolkonskaya, the first season of *The Crown* (2016) as Venetia Scott, and *Peaky Blinders* (2016–2022) as Linda Shelby. Her film roles include Princess Mary in *Downton Abbey* (2019) and Ioana Celibidache in *The Yellow Tie* (2025). Since 2020 she has played the lead role of Eliza Scarlet in the series *Miss Scarlet and the Duke*.
