## Biography

Katherine Green is an American television writer, producer and director. She began her career writing for comedian Bob Hope before moving into sitcoms.

Her writing credits include episodes of *Taxi* (1978), for which she also served as story editor, *Cheers* (1982), *Married... with Children* (1987), on which she wrote 18 episodes and held multiple producer roles, *The Drew Carey Show* (1995) and *Dave's World* (1993). She created the series *Rachel Gunn, R.N.* (1992) and *Women in Prison* (1987), and directed one episode of *Married... with Children*.

Green holds a BA in Journalism and History from the University of Oklahoma. She later wrote children's books.
