Kathryn Baker is an American television writer. She wrote episodes of the CBS sitcom *Murphy Brown*, which premiered in 1988, including "The Morning Show" and "And the Whiner Is..." in the first two seasons.

Baker also contributed to *The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr.* (1993), writing the episode "Steel Horses".
