## Biography

Kathryn M. Drennan is an American writer. She worked as an assistant to Carl Sagan on the documentary miniseries *Cosmos: A Personal Voyage* in the early 1980s and later contributed scripts to animated series including *She-Ra: Princess of Power* (1985), *Defenders of the Earth* (1986) and *The Real Ghostbusters* (1987).

She wrote the *Babylon 5* episode 'By Any Means Necessary' (1994) and the tie-in novel *To Dream in the City of Sorrows* (1997). Drennan also wrote magazine articles, including pieces on *Night Gallery* co-authored with J. Michael Straczynski, whom she married in 1983; they divorced in 2003.
