Kathy Speer is an American television writer and producer. She wrote episodes of the sitcom *Benson* (1979) and served as co-producer on the series. She wrote multiple episodes of *The Golden Girls* (1985) and worked as producer and later co-executive producer across its run.

With her husband and writing partner Terry Grossman, Speer was head writer on *The Golden Girls*. She co-created the series *The Fanelli Boys* (1990), *Pacific Station* (1991) and *The Mommies* (1993). She received two Primetime Emmy Awards for her producing work on *The Golden Girls*.
